My car got beaten up. I know its already a piece of crap, but I had to make it worse. Someone came along in the middle of the night and punched my car, therfore giving it not one but two black eyes. I have to warn you, the following images are very graphic, if you have small children in the room thatmay be able to see the screen, I reccomend that you put them on your lap so they can see better…

Friday
Work. Left on time for once. Came home and the new THE HINT CD was waiting for me. I then picked up Britny. Met up with my mom and picked up a christmas tree. Lashed that puppy to the roofrack and it didnt move the whole way home.
I was so proud of it I even stopped to get some pictures of it. I had to stop at my favourite picture taking spot. In front of the short bus parking spot.

Got home and put that thing up. Brit picked it out and I think once it drops it will look good.
Saturday
Was woken up by the sound of my cell phone ringing. I thought it was going to be my boss asking me to come into the store, but it wasnt. Apperantly last week he asked if I needed help building my deck. At the time, I declined, but he pressed on and I said I would need some help this weekend. Turns out Dave has a much better memory than I do. It was a good thing he called too cause like I said, I was asleep. Granted it was about 9:30 when he called and I should have been up anyways.
Much hammering and sawing ensued. Most of the day Dave spent up in the rafters climbing about. I cant say that I blame him. It was hovering under 40 degrees all day, and up in the rafters was the only place that was getting any sorts of sun. We started at around 10AM, and ended at almost 5PM. Got tons done. The next few steps are all ready for plywood, tarpaper, and shingles. Plus Ill have to pull down that stupid metal roof.
Some pics of Dave on the roof and what we got done that day:
After Dave left I was left with the daunting task of convincing Krista to go out. We got ready and left the house around 6PM. Got all kinds of shopping done (dont tell Brit.)
Left the mall and headed over to The Avenue. You know, being 27 walking thru there makes you feel a lot older than that. I remember when I was a senior in high school and they just finished that place. That was 1997. Yeah, 1997. God I’m old.
Anyway, we met up with Dave and went to www.redbrickstation.com”>Red Brick Station to get some dinner. Good food there, and apperently good beers too. I wouldnt know, cause I dont drink, but Dave & Krista said they were good. Damn thats wierd writing that. Its almost like Im writing in third person. Either way.
Sunday
Slept in, watched the footbal game, decorated some stockings, strung some lights on the tree and took a nap. I woke up later to hang with the fam, then I typed all this shizz out.
Man that was a quick recap for sunday. I should have written all the days like that.

I am very excited. Tonight me and the coolest 10 year old I know (my awesome daughter Britny) are going to go and get our Christmas tree. Im really looking forward to us going out without Krista. Everytime we do someting, Krista is there. Now dont get me wrong, I love my wife, but it always seems like the only time I get to do dad & daughter stuff is when there is a mom in between us. Unless you count driving her to the busstops some mornings.
I know technically she still isnt my daughter, but should that stop me from being her dad?
Thu 7 Dec 2006
This morning, or rather this afternoon I was woken up, not by my alarm clock, but by krista coming home for lunch and closing the front door. I technically didnt get here until about 1:15pm. I still have a boatload of things to do today, and I dont even know where to start.
I have got to start getting to sleep earlier.
