Maybe time to start something new, lets give this a shot…

So, long story short. My company is building out into the adjoining office effectively doubling the office space.

They started work about a month ago and are finishing up this week. Of course, there is a wall between the existing space and the new space. That wall, obviously, needs to go. I guess they cannot do all of it (demo, drywall, painting, electrical and carpet repair) in the 2 day weekend, so they need 3 days to do it.

What does this mean for me and the rest of my fellow employees? Why, a 3 day weekend and a 4 day workweek! Now, even tho I only work 5 hours on Friday, the company will not just give 11 people 5 hours of vacation, so that means that our usually long days of 8.75 hours get extended to 10 hours with a 45 min. lunch. This means instead of working 7:30am to 5:00pm, I now stay until 6:15pm.

Every day this week.

So yeah, I get a 4 day workweek, but not by choice.

So, its late night here at the office, I’m famished, and I’m not sure if my key works to get back in this late at night. I was planning on being here for a few more hours. Suddenly, I remembered that I needn’t worry, I had a Lean Cuisine in the freezer. I went off to the bathroom with my mouth anticipating what will come in 3:30 to 4:30 minutes. I go to the freezer… and it’s gone. The Chicken Club Panini I had put in there few weeks ago is gone. Now, I wouldn’t normally bring this up, especially thru email, but I feel that this is odd considering a few things…

1. There is NEVER anything in the freezer. You would think that it would not be hard to remember if you were the one that placed an item in there in the first place.

2. There are only 10 people in the office. Its not like we cant keep track of the positions of items in the refrigerator. I personally know that everything I keep in the fridge area stays on the extreme upper left hand side. I know what I put in there, when I put it in, and exactly where it is. More importantly, I know what I did NOT put in there.

3. And the biggest thing: This has happened before. To me. With the exact same item in the exact same place.

At the beginning of last week, I had 3 Lean Cuisine meals sitting in the upper right hand corner of the refrigerator. A Beef Stroganoff dinner and 2x Panini sandwiches. Thursday, I went to have one for lunch, and I found that there was only 2 boxes left. The Panini sandwiches. At least they left me with the 2 I liked. I had one Panini and left the other for later. I brushed it off as a simple mistake, but I should have known better.

Because sometime today, the Lean Cuisine Bandit had struck again.

Then again, it could just be a simple mistake. Maybe after going to the fridge of Old Mother Hubbard and seeing it bare (save for those poor lonely Lean Cuisines huddled up in a corner) day after day, they figured that no one was ever going to come and claim them for lunch. Maybe they thought that it was a communal item, like pastries placed out for all on the kitchen counter, or ketchup. Maybe they honestly believed that they had placed said foodstuffs into the freezer themselves, and it truly was theirs. I don’t know.

All I do know, is it’s past 11pm, I’m still here at work, and I’m hungry.

i havent been here forever. and by here, i mean my website and the land of the living at the same time. for the past week i have had some kind of crazy african bird flu that makes your body feel like its just joined the cast of the new “jackass” movie. not to mention the fact that it still put in a 40 hour work week and didnt pansy out and call in sick. last week started out so great too. its was a monday, work went fast, good nights sleep, and then tuesday came and flipped me upside down. i have been in a sudafed severe cold/nyquil induced fog since then. you know the feeling when you’re driving home, only to snap back into it and realize you dont remember driving for the past 20 mins.? thats what my life since last tuesday has been like for me.

all in all, its good to be back.

I’m in this tiny town for the next three nights for a cabinet company’s class on their product. I can almost guarantee that you will be hearing from me as I blab on and on about how I miss home and Kris and Brit. Shoot, I even miss Luke the dog too. I’m such a domesticated guy now it is discusting.

I did find an awesome sign on the way up here tho…

Dont mind the difference of colour between the new door and the car, its cause I never washed it after we put the new door on. Once it gets a little salt spay on it frome these PA roads it will fit right in with the car.

man i have been busy. i just finished up my third week at my new job which i love. krista and i have been working on the master bedroom making it all nice and modern. ive been building a stand for mu new reef aquarium. doing car stuff. watching heroes and the office every week (really, this is a nesessity. ask krista.)

i guess just overall being busy.

So, I started a new job on Monday. It seems like it will be awesome. I’m really excited about it. Ill tell you about it later, but its now like 1:50 am and i really need to get to bed. I guess you’re also wondering what the random pics are in my blog, well, I’m setting up a blog by email/text message thingie. I’m still testing it out obviously. I also got a youtube plug-in to work. now I can post youtube videos direct to my site. I also updated Wordpress tonight to the new 2.1 version.

Yeah, I’ve been busy, but I’m tired now, so goodnight.

man, what the hell am i doing up tonight this late? i guess im just stressed up cause im going to resign from my job tomorrow.

yeah, and whats up with me not posting anymore? i really need to change that….

This morning, or rather this afternoon I was woken up, not by my alarm clock, but by krista coming home for lunch and closing the front door. I technically didnt get here until about 1:15pm. I still have a boatload of things to do today, and I dont even know where to start.
I have got to start getting to sleep earlier.

As I was doing some calculations today, I figured that if I sell everything I think Im gonna sell this month, I have the oppertunity to make just over 3k. Thats just awesome.

Man I love my job.
