Its as if they are trying to make a girl version of mtn dew. Plus its freaking light purple. I mean come on, look at the sparkles on the label.

Tonight I am sitting watching my daughter play her some serious indoor soccer. And by tonight, I mean TONIGHT. This stupid game starts at 10pm. Ten o’clock at freaking night. for a girl’s under 14 rec soccer game. I am not exactly sure who thought this would be a good idea. Honestly though, I don’t care. Between work, her school, the attention Alex has been getting at home and just the everydayness of life, we unfortunatly haven’t had that much father daughter time lately. And that kinda sucks. I remember, when I used to work all kinda crazy hours and Krista had a more 9 to 5 type of job, I used to take Brit out just her and I. we would go to Double Rock Park in Parkville and spend most of the day walking along the banks of the stream. Now I’m lucky if I get to see her in between her nightly internet myspace sessions.
What has technology turned us into?

So today is Monday. I know I shouldn’t, but I miss Heroes. The show has gotten worse and worse since the writers strike but here I am, almost mid January wishing I could find out in the next chapter. I almost wish NBC would cancel this show, or at the very least get some sort of ending date out there like Lost. Right now I feel like I’m in the middle of the 3rd season of Lost and you know what, I hated that show then too. I can only hope that Heroes does a U-turn and brings back good episodes this spring or I swear, I’m gonna stop watching…
…maybe.
